Wood utensil set complete with 7 different pieces.

This wooden utensils set is ideal for all your cooking tasks.  With 7 different heads, you will have an apparatus for mixing, frying, draining, scooping and more.

The teak wood used to make this kitchen utensil set are heat, scratch and rot resistant ensuring they last you for years to come.  Unlike plastic utensils, these wooden cooking utensils are non toxic and do not leech harmful chemicals into your food, or alter the taste of your food.

As an added bonus, they are also aesthetically pleasing with their natural wooden markings and varying shades of brown, unlike what is found in silicone cooking utensils sets.

Please note due to the nature of the wood, colour and grains may vary.

The wooden kitchen utensils are not dishwasher safe. Please do not soak them in water for long periods of time and wash with warm soapy water and dry fully. We recommend treating your utensils with food grade oil to prolong the life of these utensils and to renew the colour of the wood.

Wooden utensil holder pot is included as a separate add-on. Please note that, due to supplier changes, the pot received may differ slightly to the one in pictures.

Check out this article on the benefits of wooden kitchen utensils vs. silicone for a detailed breakdown.

Are wooden cooking utensils safe?

Wooden utensils are safer than plastic/silicone utensils as they don't contaminate food with chemicals. These anti-bacterial agents make wooden utensil sets a much better option than its cheaper counterparts.

Can you put wooden utensils in the dishwasher?

We would advise against doing so, given the harsh usage of water and temperatures in the dishwasher which may dry out the wood. We would recommend gently hand washing and drying these after use. To keep them looking fresh year after year, it is worth purchasing some food grade wood oil.

Do wooden kitchen utensils scratch pans?

As the key reason why people like having silicone utensils, wooden utensils do not damage pots and pans where used sensibly, unlike with metal utensils which scratch pots and pans far too often.
